"The German and Russian Department of Carleton College sponsored this lecture with the help of the Christopher Light Lecture Fund. Besides those interested in German literature and culture, there were students and professors from the history department in attendance, including an Afro-American professor who asks several questions; there were also several people in attendance from the Afro-American community and/or area studies. The talk is in Engilsh and provides an overview of the history of Blacks in Germany.
