Peter Huber, a Kiosk owner from Bavaria, gets dumped by his girlfriend because she finds him too fat. His luck changes when he wins a trip to New York, where he can fulfill his dream of walking down the Street of Desire. Dressed in Lederhosen, he walks around New York with a gaping mouth. One day, he saves a dancer in a porno show from committing suicide and discovers that she is an abandoned GI-bride from Kaiserslautern with a thing for Peter Kraus. Peter's happiness seems complete when he and his new girlfriend are voted King and Queen of the German-American Octoberfest and go home with a new cow.
