AvailableOlaf and Horst are two young men living in East Berlin shortly after the construction of the Wall. Both become rebels with a cause by calling attention to certain inefficiences and injustices in the foundry where they work. The film is at once the site of political debate and generational conflict.
The film was banned by the SED in 1965 and released in its current form in 1990. Director: Gerhard Klein. Black&White. Country: East Germany. Subtitled.
