"This is Your Life: Created by Ralph Edwards in the late 1940, ""This is Your Life"" came to television in 1952 and remained on the air for nine years. The show used a simple formet of surprising an unsuspecting individual and informing them that ""This is Your Life,"" then the subject watches their life unfold before them of rhte next 30 minutes. Tonight show surprised legendary film maker Max Sennett. We watch this Keystone Kops creator enjoy the parade of people that impacted his life. Mama: ""Mama"" was one of the best loved of the early TV family comedies. This charming half hour starring Peggy Wood as ""Mama"" Hanson told the story of a Norwegian-American family and their true-to-life experiences in turn-of-the century San Francisco. Judson Laire, Dick Van Patton, Rosemary Rice and Robin Morgan rounded out the cast. Stage Show:This fast paced musical variety show was hosted by the very talented big band all-stars Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey. This episode features the comedy of Henny Youngmen, The June Taylor dances and a special guest star... A young countryrock singer named Elvis Presley. As most of the country watched, Elvis sang ""Blue Suede Shoes"" and ""heart Break Hotel."" The next day pandemonium hit the streets and ""The King"" was on his way." Black and white. Country: USA.
