The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show: The format of this delightful show was set in the Burns home. Goerge was cast in the dual role of on-screen narrator and straight man for Gracie`s scatterbrained but nice interactions with various people and situations.Featured players included Bea Benaderet, Fred Clark and Harry Von Zell. Topper: This amusing television show was about a couple, George and Marion Kerby, coming back to haunt their former home after passing away on vacation. Their home now occupied by banker Cosmo Topper and wife Henrietta, with Cosmo the only person able to see the Kirby`s antics, made for a very enjoyable show. You Bet Your Life: Hosted by funny man Groucho Marx, this "Quiz Show`s" main asset was the humor injected by Groucho into the interviews with the contestants before they started the game. Of course there was the secret word, "It`s a common thing, something you see every day." With announcer George Fenneman, the show was on TV for eleven years. Black and White. Country: USA.
