Enemies - Back on active patrol duty, Faith accompanies Buffy to the graveyard where they encounter a demon who offers to sell them the Books of Ascension. Realizing the books are vital to the Mayor`s Ascension, the two-timing Faith secretly alerts the Mayor. Together they plot to first steal the books - then Angel`s soul. For with Angel on their side there should be no problem getting rid of that ""other"" slayer. ""Earshot"" - After slaying a telepathic demon, Buffy is infected with the ""aspect of the demon,"" in this case the ability to read minds. What begins as eye-opening fun turns into a curse as Buffy`s mind is bombarded by all the hidden teenage angst filling Sunnydale High. Desperate to shut out the growing onslaught of inner voices, Buffy is suddenly shocked to hear an anonymous threat of mass murder while in the cafeteria.
