Title:
October \(Ten Days That Shook the World\)
"October was commissioned to Sergei Eisenstein by the Soviet Central Committee in charge of festivities to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Russian Revolution. The filmmaker chose to capture the spirit of the era by focusing on one place at one point in time: Petrograd (Leningrad) between February and October 1917. The result is, from its opening moments on, a visually stunning film and a symphony of non-stop rhythmic editing (or montage)."
Director: Sergei Einstein.
